5. Chicago Tribune reports that Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine recently opened a center to research the causes of obesity and find new ways to treat it. Canada has been a leader in this field, centred on the Canadian Obesity Network - Obesity Canada – 2,000 researchers, clinicians, allied health care providers and other professionals with an interest in obesity and collaborating to reduce the mental, physical and economic burden of obesity on Canadians.
