In the “war on error” it's Canada 17 and USA 20. Canada rates better than both the USA and AUSTRALIA in a Commonwealth Report reviewed here. The article comes from the just-released special issue on patient safety, produced by the journal Healthcare Quarterly. More. When anyone discusses HOBIC I think of the Hobbit. It makes sense. According to Wikipedia the most famous of them all is seen as respectable and conservative and takes on tasks reluctantly but then develops a growing capability, independence of action and sense of community.
