Health care spending
Provincial and territorial government spending on health care is expected to increase by 5.7% in 20062007, according to a new report by the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) reports: health spending by provincial and territorial governments is expected to reach $96.0 billion in 20062007, up from an estimated $90.9 billion in 20052006, and $85.3 billion in 20042005.
