Hydro delivers more than you think.
Ontario Hydro, no small player in Ontario’s economy, delivers electricity. Now it is also using its excess fibre-optic capacity with a newco Hydro One Telecom. Smart Systems for Health (SSHA) is one of the first to come on board. The new telecom will provide the dedicated core section to SSHA’s telecommunications network to be used by health care institutions and professionals across Ontario to share patient information. The news release says SSHA’s network will be the largest private, high performance network in Ontario. Private?
