Longwoods eLetter March 17, 2009

QUOTE
"The cost of a mobile (emergency) visit is 21 per cent less expensive than the cost of sending that resident into the emergency department and doing sort of a typical over-75-years-old emergency-department-visit assessment, so there's significant savings to the health-care system." Mary Jane McNally, Director of Nursing at Toronto Western Hospital. More.
